As we understand more and more each day, our goal is going to remain the same; we must take whatever actions are necessary to keep the health and safety of our employees, clients, and community our #1 priority.
We feel extremely lucky that we are able to come to work so that we can continue servicing the properties of our many clients. To limit exposure, our company is following recommendations from provincial and federal health officials. We continue to update and improve upon our procedures as we learn more, and the following is currently implemented:
Our teams our respecting social distancing throughout their day. Team members will limit contact with each other when possible but otherwise maintain a 2M distance.
We are exercising proper hygiene etiquette: covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze with the inside of your elbow or a tissue, not into your hands. This also includes proper hand washing and facial cleanliness. We have distributed disinfectant soap, water containers and disposable wipes into all vehicles.
Limiting vehicles to 2 employees with one in the front and one in the backseat, when possible. We are strongly encouraging all staff to meet on site when possible.
We have increased the frequency and protocol of properly cleaning and sanitizing all areas, with an emphasis on high-touch areas.
All hand tools will be wiped down and sanitized after use.
Most importantly, we have reminded all team members that if they are sick, they need to stay home.
Thank you for allowing us to continue to work on your properties and in your communities. All of us at Meridian Landscaping want to assure you that we are diligent in doing our part to respect all of the health guidelines and we will continue to update our clients during this rapidly changing situation.
Sincerely,
Sarah Janzen, Principal
